28 years ago, one of the greatest singers that history has known and whose songs continue to be heard to this day, Freddie Mercury, passed away.

The singer of the group “Queen” was born in 1946 in Zanzibar and was baptized with the name Farrokh Bulsara. He started making music with his school band in London, and adopted the name Freddie, as his friends had a hard time telling him his real name.

He remained known as a man of the spectacle, while his controversial life has been marked by scandals, in particular narcotics and the large number of sexual partners, which caused him to become infected with HIV.His career will be remembered for his incredible voice spanning four octaves, which is why he is included in the list of the greatest vocalists of all time.He wrote the lyrics of the songs, as well as engaged in the music composition of some of the biggest hits of world music.

Freddie Mercury died on November 24, 1991, as a result of inflammation in the lungs caused as a complication of AIDS.
